Very rare HUMBER SUPER SNIPE 1954
My dad bought this car as a restoration project for himself. He always wanted to have something like this and I can now see why. Due to illness he now has sadly passed away. We want this car to end up in the good and capable hands of someone restoring it. The car has had only 4 previous keepers. which is absolutely nothing for a 59 year old car especially when the last 2 owners are present on the log book since 2009 so. basically the vehicle had only 2 owners that have actually used it. The vehicle. being a classic is MOT exempt and TAX exempt.
The registration number on the vehicle is the one that was assigned by the DVLA when the car was first registered and it has been valued by "regtransfers. co. uk" at £2000.
The car is registered on the log book as black in color which would make it stand out even more.
There was some work carried out on the vehicle: brand new made to fit stainless steel exhaust; carb has been tweaked by an emissions specialist; brand new battery; etc.
We have loads of chrome bits and gasket kits for the vehicle which will help in the process of restoration.

The ignition barrel is not present on the vehicle. has a start button fitted. The rear door cards are missing. but they can be manufactured.
This is the Humber Super Snipe MK IV with the 4. 1 Liters. according to howmanyleft. co. uk there are only 10 left.
The Humber starts and drives with no problems. brakes are all working and it can be driven away on all fours. We have got the V5. V112 (MOT Exemption form) and a bit of service history but nothing major. There is no reserve on it whatsoever. so the car will go at the end of the auction for whatever it makes. Grab yourself a very rare piece of history at a bargain price. Being so rare. this car will never go down in value. it can only go up and up and up. Imagine what this car will cost now once it gets restored. now imagine what it will be in 10 or more years from now on. it's not something that you see everyday on the road.

The car has had new front and rear windscreens and all the windows have been resealed. Thanks to the previous keeper that got in touch with us today. we've managed to get the rear door cards and the original spare wheel.
