If you are looking at this car. yes. it is different to all other 350 SLC's. this is not a concourse car.

I have been unable to prove this is a AMG built car. but I was told that Bob Jane in the late 1980's was the Australian distributor for AMG and most of the work to the car was done at Rushcutters Bay. again unable to verify.

As you can see the car is by no means standard. it has been upgraded by the fitting of a full body kit. twin exhausts. lowered suspension. engine work (Cam) and the fitting of a W124 model collapsible steering column. allowing the fitting of the leather steering wheel you can see. It has a 4 speed auto fitted not the 3 speed. it starts in 2nd gear.

I have only seen one other car with this full body kit that is in pictures from Germany

The car has Simmons V5 mags fitted but the original AMG early mags come with the car (wheels nuts to suit)

The car has been setup to compete in the Targa style events but will require a brake upgrade to be safe.

The Benz is 43 years old and has small rust spots and marks etc. to the body.

There are small jobs too complete (Bonnet release. replace the front seat and has a slow power steering leak)

The car is sold unregistered as it has been on club plates for the last 4 years
