This 1956 Bentley S-1 is simply beautiful. Not only completely rare and unique. but also completely luxurious to today's standards. This beauty is a head turner if there ever was one.

The car is powered by an in-line 6-cylinder. 298 cubic inch (4. 9 liter) engine. developing 178 horsepower coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The chassis consists of front coil-springs and rear semi-elliptic leaf-spring suspension. with anti-roll bars; cam-and-roller steering. power hydraulic drum brakes.  This vehicle is in good condition for it's age. It will need some mechanical TLC. but it starts. runs great. drives great. It is just in need of some regular maintenance (fluids. filters. brakes inspection. tires. etc. ). This vehicle was owned by my father who recently passed away.  He purchased the vehicle in 1987.  

Cosmetic work that had been done over the years; New paint (1992) body is in good shape. Could use some body work and new paint to make it perfect. Newer headliner and newer carpeting installed. The wood throughout has been hand refinished to its original luster (1985 still in great condition). Looks beautiful. Leather interior is in good condition. has some areas that could use attention.  

This car has been mechanically worked on by a local Rolls Royce and Bentley technician of over 30 years experience. Not only is this Bentley gorgeous to look at. it is fun and enjoyable to drive. as it runs incredibly well to boot. Only has 52. 50 miles (unknown on if they are original. as this car is right hand drive and the speedometer was changed out when it was brought into the country).

Does the Bentley over heat? Could it be driven for a long distance without breaking down?

Also, what is the condition of the undercarriage and door seals. Is there any rust? Where has this Bentley been stored & how many miles are on it.
