ALAS!  I am buying a house and have to sell my 2-owner 1963 Chrysler Imperial Le Baron - one of 1537 produced.  This was the top of the line for Chrysler and only available in a 4-door hardtop.  The car has been completely taken apart. sanded to bare metal. repainted in Patriot Red Pearl - a Chrysler color. and the upholstery was done in leather and fabric as original and re-stuffed - the seats are VERY comfortable. like driving on your living room couch.   A new custom-made headliner was installed along with custom wind-lace and all the chrome was redone.  In addition. new weatherstripping was installed along with new carpet. a new carburetor and battery. The brakes were done before I got the car by the original owner. and stop the car very well - no pulling or pulsing.

The engine runs smooth and without any hesitations. noises. smoking or leaks of any kind.   In 100+ degree weather. there are no problems with over-heating. in fact. it tends to run on the lower side of normal.   The car sits on a brand new set of radials and is equipped with the following:

Power Steering and BrakesFactory Air ConditioningRemote Control MirrorPower WindowsPower Vent Wings6-Way Power SeatPower AntennaAutomatic Signal Seeking AM Radio with Foot ControlAutomatic Pilot (Cruise Control)Push Button TransmissionElectroluminescent Dash Lighting SystemFactory Tinted WindowsAutomatic Parking Brake ReleaseTrunk Light

Everything works as it should. except the clock. but it is accurate twice a day.   It has always been garaged and meticulously maintained by the original owner as well as myself.   There is NO RUST anywhere - floors. frame and trunk are solid as the day it was made.   The electroluminescent power supply was rebuilt. all the windows were greased and the motors were checked and oiled.   All the windows work. including the power vent wings.   I just changed the oil and had the A/C serviced.   Car drives so smooth you can barely feel the transmission shift.   I have all the receipts - well over $19. 00 was invested in the restoration.  This is a NO RESERVE auction!

If you have any questions. feel free to call me (Dave) at 702-292-1201.   Remember. it's PST here.   If you would like to come see the car or have it inspected. just let me know. but please. do it before the auction ends.   I have described the vehicle accurately and will stand behind my word.   If you come to pick up the car. and it isn't as described. I will refund any deposit back to you.   I will do nothing to jeopardize my perfect Ebay reputation.   That being said. please remember it is a 50 year old car.   There's a couple of dings in the stainless trim. but very. very small.   There's also a slight discoloration on the rear window trim that I keep forgetting to look at.   I'm sure it will polish out.   All glass is clear with no chips. cracks or discoloration.

This is a truly unique classic. with a design like no other car on the road.   From it's rectangular steering wheel to the free-standing headlights. there is nothing in its class that comes close.

Now for the not-so-fun stuff – I will cancel any bid from new Ebay users with 0 feedback unless you contact me first.   Please have your finances in order before the end of the auction.   If your cat needs a heart bypass. or your hamster has kidney stones. please make sure your health insurance covers it before buying this car.   Also. check with the spouse!
