My 1963 Chevrolet Impala. I bought this car in 1999. 17 years ago. It had a 6 cylinder in it when I got it. I bought a 1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville and took the motor out and put it in the Chevy for some cheap horsepower and fun. I haven't had much time or space to continue my project so it has to go to a new home.

This was just supposed to be a hot rod. Something to spin the tires and go. When you jump on it. it squats and goes.

It has dual Flowmaster 2" exhaust ending just after the back wheels. It has new PST bushings. Hotchkiss Performance rear panhard bar and trailing arms. New springs and shocks. Old school air shocks in the back. Radiator was modified to take the motor and it has a built in oil cooler in the bottom.

Has a rebuilt GM TH400 automatic transmission.  New alternator and starter.

To put the motor in did not require any chassis mods. Just new plates for the engine mounts and a modified crossmember at the transmission.

Has a new gas tank with overflow pipe from the motor. Motor is great. probably driven 20 miles an hour all its life.

Now it is not running at the moment. Needs a new battery and some one to check the wiring for the HEI ignition. It is getting proper voltage but it won't stay charged.  I think I fixed that but haven't driven it to find out. You will need a new battery. one with at least 950 cold crank. Need to fill the brake fluid. I put new brake lines on it front and back but not the one from the front to the back. Also I would put a dual brake line on it cause it just has the original stock set up with drum brakes. Needs trans fluid also. Needs a drive belt for the power steering. Have to remove the radiator to replace the belt and line up the pulleys. Other than that dump sum premium in the carb and give it a crank. It should start. I would not plan on driving it home until you go over it real good. It is still a project.

Body is ok. new front fenders. Rockers are good. I would put new back fenders on from the doors back. The guy I bought it from put on half over fenders and didn't do a very good job.

Chassis is excellent. I scraped and painted the bottom. A arms were blasted and painted with new PST bushings. My plan was to put a little tub on it and new back fenders. Put fat tires on it and scare everyone at cruise night.

It as the original rear end and with the Caddy motor it spins at 900 RPM. I was going to put a posi unit on it with 356 gears. nbsp;fat tires but never did.

There was a small rust spot on the driver side. you can fix that if you want. Side chrome is missing. It has a BB chip in the windshield. I have a replacement glass for that. It goes with the car.

It has a new interior along with new carpeting and headliner.  All stock items. Bench seat.  Has Classic radio with dual antennas.

The wheels are from a 65 El Camino. Temporary. Never bought good wheels and tires. Has the original jack.

Can't think of anything else. Hate to part with it but no place or money to work on it. Selling cheap for a 1963 Impala.  Will need to tow it if you are the winning bidder.

This is a "No Reserve" auction. It is the real deal.
