1969 Ford Mustang

For Sale is my 1969 Mustang Coupe. this Mustang has been in my family since 1971 and is the actual car that I took my drivers test in. I have most if not all receipts for the work done on this Mustang.

This car has been professionally restored it has had new floors. rocker panels. torque boxes. firewall extensions. quarter panels. the hood was replaced with an O. E. M. hood and much more. The paint on the car is a beautiful deep red. the car was painted about 7 years ago and still looks great but there are some very minor road imperfections as I do drive this car with that said it is still a show quality car. /p>

The Engine is the original 302 but was rebuilt about 4 years ago and is now a 347 stroker with an edelbrock aluminum intake with a Holly 600cfm 4bbl carb. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine and is the original C4 Automatic with a 600 stall torque converter and a mild shift kit. Air Conditioning was also added at this time with a new radiator and all necessary parts to make sure the A/C worked correctly.

The front end components were also replaced at the time of the engine rebuild. /p>

The dual exhaust consists of Headmen long tube headers connected to a pair of Flow Master 40 series mufflers finished off with chrome extensions tips.

The Rims have been upgraded from 14 inch stock Steele rims to 15 inch Magnum 500s all around with BF Goodrich F70s in the front and BF Goodrich G60s in the rear. The Mustang came with Power Steering and Manuel Brakes. I upgraded the brakes to Power Disc Brakes in the front. the rear brakes are still Drum.  

The interior is in excellent condition it has Black bucket seats in the front and a bench style seat in the rear. the front seats were redone using the original style material while the rear seats has never been redone. The carpet had been replaced and is like new as is the headliner. The dash pad is also in excellent condition.

There are a couple of minor things that the car could use should the buyer choose to do but nothing that affects the operation of the vehicle or the looks of the vehicle they are as follows; The automatic shifter could use to be rebuilt at some point. the car shifter works fine but is a little sloppy. The instrument lights work when they want to but since most of the driving I do with the car are during the day I never worried about it and what little night driving I do with the car it never bothered me.

The car does show some wear as I do drive the car to and from shows and occasional summer drives. the car is garaged and covered when not in use and when not in use for long periods of time it is connected to a battery tender and started periodically. I change the Oil at the beginning of every season. I only put 50 to 100 miles on it per season and it has less than 500 miles on it since the engine rebuild approximately 4 years ago.

The car will come with a car cover and whatever service manuals that I have and any spare parts that the buyer would want.
