The car currently has only 156361 KM (97. 00 miles) on the odometer. The mileage is documented with a journal and service records. The car was Purchased by Charlie Chester VP of CBS (TV) of Ojai California. on May 10. 1982 with only 5. 00 KM (3100 miles). He Federalized the car in May of 82. He kept detailed records of everything done to the car (tires. belts. timing chain. windshield wipers. car wax and brand etc. ) through years until he sold the car on June 9 1989 to Randy Hurst with 66. 00 KM (41. 00 miles). Randy took over the Journal keeping track of every service and repairs through October 24. 1994 with only 119787 KM (74. 32 Miles) on it. He sold the car to the late Cleveland Moffett of Maryville Tn 1996. Mr. Moffett Kept the car until his death in 2015. The car was then sold to neighbor Mr. Gilmore who drove the car daily for a few months and then parked the car due to a failing Clutch Master Cylinder. I purchased the car from him with 156359.
The car currently runs and drives. It starts up and runs great. The transmission shifts good and brakes work great. The car has NO RUST and shows no signs of ever being wrecked or repaired. The car has been repainted several years ago and could use a repaint. The interior is original but could use redone. The car has its original tools. and owner's manual as well as several older service records and the Journal. The car has complete owner history back to 1982 with 5000 Km on it.
This is a great candidate for a restoration. or make a daily driver out of. You don't find many of these cars with the 5 speed manual transmission and all of this history.
