Up for bid is a 1980 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham coupe. Super straight body with nice chrome and no body rust. Undercarriage and frame are super solid. a 5 liter 301ci 2 bbl Pontiac V8 engine and TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. Open rear end. Shows 18k miles - looks more like 118k than more. Second owner since 2002. Runs and drives great and all power options work.

ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking. missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. Carb recently rebuilt. newer water pump and an extra one comes with the car.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight with no rust or bondo. One small dent in front of left rear wheel opening. and a few door dings on right front door. Paint: Original paint and original vinyl top - both in very nice shape. Several small brush touch spots around the car as seen in pics. Other: All glass is good. Undercarriage is super solid. underhood sheet metal. trunk sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Hubcaps have a little curb rash. Chrome bumpers are shiny and not pitted or rusty.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is very nice. Dash has no cracks and is still shiny. Cloth seating areas are in great shape. Original carpet is nice throughout. Headliner is nice - minor near driver's sun visor. Steering wheel is not cracked or peeling. Door panels are beautiful. Trunk is nice and clean and has original spare and jack. Very nice interior overall. Clock works and keeps accurate time!
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights. horn. wipers. etc. ) The power windows. power locks. power driver's seat. hot heat and cold A/C. tilt. am/fm stereo 8 track. and rear defroster all work. The cruise works when it wants to - you have to hit the switch just right.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out well. Steering is tight. alignment is dead on. suspension is tight for a car this size. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 30% tread remaining on a matched set of whitewall radials. Solid exhaust pipes. Runs out and drives great.
