I have for sale a classic Rare and getting harder to Find 1979 Lancia HPE 2000
A classic 70's vehicle that was extremely unique when released and along with very few others notably the Volvo P1800E & Reliant Scimitar. brought to the world. the very definition of the Stylish Sports Estate. A vehicle that combines great sports performance and all it entails with the versatility of a wagon/hatchback. Lancia is a synonymous motoring name that evokes nostalgia amongst European car lovers for its chic looks handling and pedigree
Versatility is key. the ability to drive like only an Italian sports car can from the sound and performance of the famous 2 litre twin cam engine. cruise in 5th in total comfort then head out country. flipping the rear seats to comfortably sleep 2 adults with its corresponding cavernous storage capacity. All the while still able to maintain its beautiful sleek lines.
The car is in very good structural and good cosmetic condition with the worse being a small repaired area around left front quarter but otherwise a very straight vehicle that looks particularly nice in its Saratoga White livery. Also comes with rare factory sunroof just in time for summer.
Interior is in good clean condition with its original fabric upholstery small split in dash. Overall has an air of quality and solidity about it from the way the heavy doors close to the thick material door cards carpet and headlining that makes the interior extremely quiet and comfortable.
The best part. the way it drives. The twin cam engine being smooth and responsive and with its gearbox and light clutch making changes effortless. Brakes and tires are excellent with the only other issue being the hand brake that needs work.
An extremely easy and fun car to drive with responsive handling great performance that can be driven anywhere tomorrow giving this this car great potential as a most usable classic.
Can be put on Car club permit. Car was last fully registered a 2 years ago on plates as per photo
Car currently has an unregistered vehicle permit so can be driven anywhere on pickup. Can also drop off locally or certain parts of Melbourne/Including Depot.
