Sunbeam 90 mark 111 Supreme 1955.  

I purchased this car in December 2012.   And I have since spent well over a 1k getting her to a good running condition.   The head was reconditioned in January. with new valves. hardened seats. gaskets to run on unleaded fuel.   She is now sweet running with no funny rattles. back pressure ect.  She has a 4 speed box with overdrive which makes a big difference on the fuel.   She will sit at 70 all day on the motorway.   I have also changed the cross ply to radial all round which makes handling better and a smoother drive.   I have a fair bit of service history with the car.   I have upgraded the headlights big difference in the dark.   There is a few blemishes and rust spots on the body but this can easily be sorted if you are fussy about it.   All parts are still available. nbsp; I have fitted new rear wheel bearings .   Sunroof opens and shuts which was a optional extra along with the overdrive and rev counter.   It needs a new head lining.   There is a lot of paperwork with the car.   Mot'ed till 29 august. but from November 2012 she is mot exempt and is also free road tax.    The same cars won the mote carlo world rally in 1955 (not this car).   Fully serviced as I am a mechanic.   Any other info just ask.   The reason I am getting rid of her is I have a bad back and find it difficult to get in and out of her.    She gets a lot of attention wherever she goes.   I will be sorry to see her go. but I need something more suited to my needs due to my back problem.   There is a club that you can join called star which i am a member of.   Any other info please ask.   I can be contacted on 01471822631 or 07719728042 and ask for Kenny or Ailsa
