This is a chance to own a classic Mercedes SL.

The Mercedes SL has been one of the most prestigous sports cars for many years and this 1982 example is a good reason why!

With dark blue paintwork and grey leather interior. the overall look of the vehicle is very appealing. Overall the vehicle is in very nice condition for its age and mileage. Do not expect to see a vehicle in concourse condition as you will be dissappointed.

All mechanical aspects of the car work well. Engine runs smoothly. gearchange is good. braking system is good as is the steering.

The cloth roof will retract into its storage compartment and. as is usual with a vehicle of this age. it is a manual operation to stow and deploy the soft top.

Buyers are welcome to come and view the vehicle at our premises during business hours.

The winning bidder will need to arrange transport. Appropriate Tax and Insurance will be required to drive the vehicle away.

Full payment in cleared funds will be required before the vehicle will be released.

The vehicle was restored approximately 2 years ago by a previous owner. Restoration included all paintwork. new chromework of various parts replacement of other chromework. new carpets from Germany and a reconditioned gearbox.

There is a hardtop available for this vehicle and photographs will be posted of the vehicle with the roof down. the storage area. the engine area and the hard top when the weather improves.
