Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful black 2003 BMW X5. The BMW X5 is a fantastic piece of German engineering and is the first attempt to combine BMW exceptional street performance. luxury with a larger family size vehicle. The first generation e70 BMW X5 was branded as a SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle). because of BMW's "ultimate driving machine" philosophy in taking no shortcuts when it comes to road performance. The all wheel drive system combined with the 19 inch alloys keeps this larger vehicle planted to the ground and handles quite well much like other smaller BMWs. The 4. 4 liter v8 is the same powerplant used in the 540i and 740i also is the same basic block of the M5. M6 models as well as the later v8 m3s. It is a wonderful and powerful motor that BMW has continued to use and evolve over the years.  
This BMW X5 is in good cosmetic shape. The high quality BMW black paint is in great shape. there is a small scratch on the by the emblem and a few rock chips on the front bumper which is expected from a 13 year old car. It has never been in an accident and has a clean Carfax showing basic maintenance records from 2003. The interior is in great shape as well. The black leather has no rips or tears and the wood is in great shape with no fading or cracks. The car comes equipped with high quality BMW all weather rubber mats. The rear seat reclines. the AC blows ice cold. Mechanically the X5 runs strong and powerful. It shifts in all gears and brakes like it should. Engine code P0741 is causing the service engine light on which is due to the transmission fluid should be changed. The rear wheel speed sensors should be replaced which causes periodically the DSC and ABS light to come on in unison. The Self Leveling Inactive light is on as well. the suspension air bags have been inspected and are not leaking and the car shows no symptoms of actual system failure but more of a nuisance due to a sensor.  These do not affect performance nor safety in anyway and are the only issues with this car. Overall this X5 is in great shape with desirable color combinations and sports package options that has low mileage use.
