GREATLY REDUCED START PRICE AND NO RESERVE. IF IT DOESN'T SELL HE WILL CONSIDER RETURNING IT TO A MANUAL AS THEY SEEM TO HAVE MORE INTEREST.
The history behind this car in its present Automatic guise came about in 1992 when a full restoration and conversion was undertaken at a cost of around £9. 00 besides the purchase of the vehicle for £2300.
My friend was involved in an horrific motor accident and sustained multiple injuries which included the loss of his left leg and an eye. He spent many months in the John Radcliffe in Oxford.
When he was able to drive again it had to be an automatic and thus . s his weekend drive this Moggy was commissioned by Morris Minor Services of Malvern in Worcetershire.
I have the estimate of the costs. but not the final bill although this may appear along with the MOTs prior to 2005. but not guaranteed . hes not great with paperwork!
The estimate includes spraying inside and out however as you can see from the photos the front wings and panel are a different shade . maybe a T Cut would restore the paintwork . I dont know.
As a 20 year restoration there are small imperfections starting . the worst being the off side rear wing. also small imperfections on bottom of drivers door although seems solid. together with front and rear bottom corners of passenger door. It has had welding to the rear underneath and two small patches in the engine compartment.
The wood in excellent with a wonderful patena.
The engine is an unleaded Datsun Sunny 1. 4 with an auto box attached . it looks like it was installed from new it is such a great conversion. so all you classic enthusiast who now only drive automatics . here is one of Englands finest.
Sadly the only reason for selling is that he has now lost all periferral vision in his good eye and the medical profession have rightly withdrawn his driving licence.
Viewings are available and highly recommended. and sorry no paypal . cleared funds into bank or cash on collection with small deposit within 48 hours of listing ending.
