Ford

For sale is a running and drivable near original Ford 1970 M151a2 MUTT.   It is uncut and HAS never Been modified with a Roll Over Protection System (ROPS).   It is registered as a vintage vehicle and has a Maryland Title.   It is located near NAS Patuxent River. MD.   I drove the vehicle on nice dry days and it has been stored in my garage since I got a few years ago.   I was told by the previous owner it came out of an Air Force Base in California and it is pretty much in its original military configuration.   It has been used by the military up to the 1990s. so it has rust. some dents. and some small drips here and there.  

The vehicle's engine is solid. runs strong. and it drives nicely.   It has a clean fuel system and tank (the fuel gauge actually works).   It has a new fuel pump. filter. and line to the carb.   I have two original fuel pumps that just need new diaphragms (10$ kits online at TNJ Murray).   Additionally. I rebuilt the zenith carburetor this year. works great.   

She brakes well. both back brake lines are new.   Additionally. I have bought complete brake lines for the vehicle when the rear lines where replaced.   I also have a NOS brake master cylinder for when she needs it.   Currently. the rear right brake leaks and will need to be replaced.

This M151 has a fording kit installed and I have the complete fording exhaust.   The vehicle has a full set of curtains (soft top) with complete doors.  This M151 had a heater installed. I have not messed with it and all I can say is the blower works like a champ.   The vehicle has complete seats in nice condition (including the rear seat) with seatbelts and door belt.   The windshield wipers work. however the windshield washer is disconnected.   All the lights work on the vehicle. including the blackout lights.   The starter is very strong and it comes with two older but solid batteries.   The batteries have a kill switch on it.   Tires are old military UDTs and will need to be replaced soon.   All the dash gauges seem to work except the engine temp. it seems to just peg high.   I have a new sensor I bought to hopefully fix the problem.   The speedometer works. but it is a little jumpy.   The red gauge lights work nicely.

The vehicle has its original data plates.

-Spare used transmission and transfer case.   New seals and sleeves (still in packaging)

-Extra used water pump.

-2 NOS universal joints

-Spare NOS headlight

-Couple spare blackout/brake/turn signal light covers.

-Three used starter generators in various conditions (pulled from old MUTTs)

-An extra five original wheels and six used UDT tires.

-An extra exhaust and exhaust gaskets.

-New front and center M151 specific brake lines (the new rear lines have been installed) and a spare NOS Master Cylinder.

-Assorted other parts.

-Full set of Army Manuals on a memory stick.
