This is a genuine. span >1975 Ford Capri JPS. John Player Special. originaly called the Midnight Special.  Only 3 previous owners from new. The car had a 5 speed gearbox fitted many years ago. The original front seats were also changed for extra comfort. they were done in the same colour scheme as the originals and have fishnet headrests. The original 4 speed gearbox. seats and headrests will come with the car but the original seats will require a full re-trim.
The car was restored to show standards many years ago but is now in need of some restoration. There are some areas of bodywork that will need sorting. as they have bubbled up due to rust. There are also other small paint blisters and wear around the car that coincide with it's age. The interior is still in really good shape. Under the bonnet looks to be in great condition. as shown in the pic's.  Although the yellow pipes could do with putting back to original black ones. The car starts and runs superb. The car is a very straight and true example with excellent lines.
This Capri was manufactured in 1975 so N or P registration but being brought back over from Ireland in 1977 it was put on a R plate. If you feel the need. you could put a cheap N reg private plate on.
The car will come with some nice bits of history including a letter for the cars appraisal. written in1993 by Niall Watterson who was the founder of the The Capri Club International and Stating the cars rarity and worth at that time. (shown in the pic's).
