After nearly 15 years of joyous ownership. I am ready to let someone else enjoy my 1962 Morgan Plus 4 4-seater. This car has been a pleasure to own and has created many cherished memories. I purchased the Morgan in 1999 from a gentleman from San Francisco and it looks basically the same as it did when I bought it. The car is a wonderful driving vehicle that can be enjoyed every day or on weekends. Recently I have completed installing all new brakes on the car as well as rebuilding the radiator. installing a new fuel pump. along with a complete tune-up. I had a new wiring harness installed in the car a few years back as well as a new mahogany dashboard. The car has always been garaged and never driven in the rain. As you can see in the photos. the car has a tonneau cover. a convertible top. aero racing screens. a badge bar. luggage rack. headlamp screens. and side screens. I am also including the heritage certificate from Morgan Motors complete with the late Peter Morgan's signature that I ordered back in 2002. They now charge 100 pounds for these. It states that the car was originally black with red leather interior when it was delivered 02/05/62. The red leather is still on the back bench seat. This is a very drivable car that you will have much fun with at about half the price of one that has been "restored". The interiors of Morgans are very limited in scope and easy to replace on your own or from a good trim shop for around $2. 00.

The Morgan Plus 4 4-seaters are one of the rarer of Morgans. and especially 1962 models. Morgan only produced 159 Plus 4s in '62 whereas they produced 222 in '61. 449 in '60 and they produced 297 in '63. Of these numbers. only a small percentage were 4-seaters. I have loved owning the 4-seater for I can have another couple. or my daughter and chocolate Labrador (included in some of the photos) accompany my wife and me on weekend rides. It is totally unique for a sports car. 1962 was also the first year the Triumph TR-4 engine was offered in the Plus 4 models which continued until 1968 when it was replaced by the Ford engine. This Morgan has a wonderful throaty exhaust sound that is indescribable that I love. There is no vintage sports car out there that gives you the feeling of being behind the wheel of a Morgan Plus 4.
