 1968 Jaguar S Type 3. 4 MOD in Carmen Red.  This is a very genuine and sound car with a new 12 month MOT to July 2014.

Large file of historic work including engine rebuild by Historic Car Company in 2002 and gearbox and overdrive rebuilds. There are also many past MOT Certificates including the first on April 19th 1971 at 14. 33 miles.

Recent improvements undertaken in the last 12months include:

•          Complete stainless steel exhaust system fitted

•          Both exhaust manifolds replaced

•          Dynamo conversion to high charge system

•          Kenlowe electric fan fitted

 

The car has a Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirming date of dispatch from factory as 4th January 1968 to distributor. Walter E Sturgess of Leicester. All numbers appear to match.

The S Type was launched in 1963 and this is a great car to celebrate the half century with and to attend events such as the Goodwood Revival / Breakfast club meetings
