1960 MK1 Mini

 

This Excellently restored example of the Mark one Austin "Seven" Mini was registered in June 1960. so was manufactured within a year of the cars launch in 1959.

The 7 was purchased from Central Garage in Leeds and has remained in Yorkshire since.

The cars valuable registration number was also issued in Leeds.

The Mini has been Lovingly restored to a fantastic standard which has been very sympathetic to the cars originality.

This is a deluxe model and comes with factory fitted heater.

The exterior Farina grey paintwork is in very good condition and is the Austins original colour (as per heritage cert). /p>

The interior of the car is original and really stands out. there are no rips or tears in the seats.

Inside the boot the mini is very clean and presentable as is the engine bay. /p>

Mechanically the car is very good it's original Austin engine is very powerful and pulls the car surprisingly well. /p>

The transmission of the car is very smooth with no whining etc. the braking system is very efficient for of a car of over 50 years old.

Underneath the car is cleaner and probably better presented than it was when it left the Austin factory.

The car would suit a collector or mini enthusiast. These cars are rocketing in value at the minute so would also make a fantastic  rare investment opurtunity.

It is a real head turner. that would need to be viewed to be fully appreciated in our showroom.

The car comes complete with heritage certificate. from The British motor industry heritage trust.

A copy of the cars original Austin Hand book comes with the sale. and has only had 1 previous keeper on the log book.
