Maserati has confirmed the following.  Produced in Sept 1960.  3500cc Carburetored engine. 4 speed.  Color: Metallic Grey (Frigio Metallizzato).  Interior in Black leather.  Sold new to Italy.  

 
It has disc brakes on the front. drum on the rear.  One of the best configurations. Carburetored disc brake car.  



 

 
Correct Wheels.

The engine does not have a water pump. I believe we most everything else.  More photos below.  



 
This car had a V6 engine in it at one time. You can see in the photo above where the drivers sidefoot well has been cut into. The passengers side is similar.  

 
This is the only number on the engine. 957.  A large percentage of 3500GT have no engine number stamped into the engine.  

 The car is missing the gauges.  Also missing the seats.  


 
It does NOT have an original gearbox.  

 
Oil change sticker on the drivers door post. April 29. 1967.  45. 41 miles. It probably looked pretty good back then.  

 
Original carburetors.  





Sections of the floors have been removed.  
The chassis is rustfree.  


 
Bottom of drivers door has no rust.  

 
The passengers door bottom needs work.
