Land Rover Series 2A SWB (Tax exempt)

This listing is for my classic Series 2A land Rover. I have owned this vehicle for over 11 years. but selling as I just don't use it these days.

The good bits

Free road tax due to classic status.

Original Smiths heater still in working condition

12 months MOT (from local garage who looked after this vehicle for the 11 years).

Solid bulkhead – including footwells.

New exhaust – last 12 months.

Solid chassis – full of Waxoyl!

CD electronic ignition – does not require modification to standard distributer.

Conversion to electric radiator cooling fan and thermostatic control (original fan included to return to standard as required).

2 ignition and door keys.

Long wheelbase wheels fitted (improved steering lock).

Mud terrain tyres.

Overdrive fitted (not noisy) original parts included to return to standard as required).

Solid door tops – I believe these are the ‘luxury' type and are actually aluminium.

All glazing channels have been renewed.


The bad bits

Oil drip from either the timing chain cover or the front crank seal.

Passenger seat back has a tear.

46 years of Land Rover life/dents/scuffs/scratches. This is not a restored vehicle. I have tried to show all angles in the photos.

I have advertised this vehicle privately so I reserve the option to end the sale early if sold locally. This item is located in Shrewsbury. Shropshire.
