On full air,1955 series one Chevy Patina hot rod pick up. american classic

So up for sale finnally this very cool looking genuine patina rat rod. my 55 chevy pickup. nbsp;I bought this truck back in april this year from Devon were it was advertised and needing tidying and a daily driver. When i took delivery of this truck it didnt take long to find that it clearly wasnt a daily driver in fact it was undrivable and not safe. So not wanting to pass it on i bit the bullet and started to go through her and turn her into a safe reliable hotrot that she now is. Ive replaced tonnes of stuff on this truck. its got a new radiator and thermostate. ew starter new alternator new uj prop joint. new modern blade 12 volt fuse box and and has been compleatly rewired. New gearbox crossmember. all the glass has been replaced along with all new rubbers and guides. new door locks hinges catches and hardware. Brand new new clutch assemble including master cylinder and clutch peddel box and hydrolic lines. There was too much patch on patch on patch repair done over many years i recone. o i decided that i wasnt going to add to it and decided to remove the lot. the whole cab floor incuding cross members has all been replaced with new steel and box section new cross members and galverised mounts with new rubber seats in them. whilst there i tacken out all the corner rot and replaced with new cab corners. Inside this truck ive keep the patina look with the rat rod theme. so sitting on top of the new treated and sound deadning floor lies a new carpet to match the outside colour of this truck along with a nice green leather bench seat. ive also retained the origanal two gadges but also added some underdash dials that show fuel. water temp and oil pressure. a working old aruuuuuugaa sounding horn for fun. Then i think i might have got carried away with the theme but it turned out very cool as i made a rat rod steering wheel and piston gear stickshift stick. Outside wanting to to stick to the patina look ive reused the old bed wood but for easy access i built a lifting tilt bed. so no excuses now to keep clean plus i think it looks cool. Also to note a loverly set of wheels with bullet style caps that really compliment the look of the truck and sit on new tyres that have not seen 100 miles yet. so as ive said ive gone through this truck and now shes a reliable truck that breaks espseally well. front discs up front and drums at the rear. also a newly fitted hydrolic handbrake as i didnt want cables every were under neath as this truck is on a fully bagged and notch verywell so it will sit on the floor. New UK lights up front with side lights built in the headlights and bew period lights up the rear with seperate side brake and amber turn signals. Everysingle pipe fuel and hydrolic and brake lines have been replaced with new. This is a very cool 55 bagged and mot and tax axsempt patina pickup that needs nothing apart from a 156 pound 12 volt wiper motor. the fused wire feed is ready to plug in. you can get these from steve langleys.
