AUSTIN 18 NORFOLK TAXI 1937 BARN FIND RESTORATION PROJECT ORIGINAL for sale
Current customer rating:(2.15) based on 289 votes
1937 Austin 18 Norfolk taxi. been sat in a barn for over 50 years until last week. Overall pretty good solid condition. from what I can see the chassis rails look solid but as to be expected there are a few holes here and there in the body work but nothing at all major. I'm told it was used as a London taxi during the WW2 blitz. The original engine has been removed and a Diesel engine has been fitted but currently not running. it's just sat in there. The original engine comes with the car but as can be seen in the pic the block has a hole in it. also supplied is another Austin 18 block and various other parts. (Everything in the pics). I am happy to remove the diesel engine if need be. I'm told the car apart from Diesel engine is complete and original. everything seems to open close as it should. it rolls and steers nicely for loading purposes. I have the V5 logbook with matching registration and chassis numbers. I have many more pics upon request and don't think it will take much to get this lovely old car back up and running again. I would love to do but just do not have the time. The car can be delivered anywhere throughout U. K. /Europe upon request but at additional cost to buyer. The registration number has been valued at £3000 by regtransfers. co. uk. Any inspections are very welcome. Credit/debit cards accepted but subject to 3% charge. I am not desperate to sell this car so please no silly offers. Happy to PX or swap. what have you got? Please ebay message or contact me on 07960598397 with any questions. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE LESS. THAN 10 GOOD FEEDBACK. UNLESS YOU CONTACT ME FIRST! WHAT YOU BID IS WHAT YOU PAY! Thanks for looking.
