I am selling my much loved 1972 (TAX FREE) Devon conversion VW camper van. this is a Right hand drive walk through model this model has the curved front bumper (not currently fitted to the van but is part of the sale) and low front indicators. this model was only made for a limited time and consequently is one of the rarer versions of the VW series.

This van is not in original example. as none of the original interior was present when I purchased the vehicle but this does allow a free canvas for your own interior design. or you could easily get by the interior that I installed. the engine is has also been replaced with a 1. 9 Peugeot Diesel for better fuel consumption and more reliability. without taking away the relaxed speed that should be part of any VW camping adventure.

If the diesel conversion is not for you then I do have the original air-cooled as part of the sale although I cannot guarantee that it is complete or in running order. if it is running then it should not be a big problem to replace as we have not butchered the VWs frame when putting the diesel conversion in    

 

Not so good bits

As with any vans of this age and in this price bracket there are some problems. the biggest of these problems is in the bodywork with a full re-spray and bodywork welding being required. the main areas of the bodywork problems are based around the guttering. door's and  lower ¼ of the van.
