Hi and thanks for Looking. br>it is with great sadness we are having to say goodbye to our much loved MK2 Vitesse. We are selling as we are not really using her and she spends most of her time undercover in our garage plus as I have a GT6 that seems to take my spare time. She is not perfect and I have tried to take pics of the areas that let her down a bit. Having said that her chassis is very solid and her bodywork is also. there are a few areas that could be better but these are clearly visible and I have not been hidden with filler or fuzzy photography. Please note she was originally white and was resprayed sometime in the 80's She has a brand new MOT expiry April 2014 and is of course tax free :o) For providence she also has a TSSC IVR heritage certificate.

Her straight 6 purrs along nicely with a nice growl at high revs. She starts on the button even after after spending months in the garage. She can sit in traffic all day without getting hot and is a joy to drive turning heads and inviting "I had had one of those" comments where ever she goes. I also have a couple of boxes of "pot luck" spares plus heaps of history including a lovely letter from the 1st owner detailing an eventful trip to Paris he had in her. We have made a few upgrades since owning her and I've listed these below.

New hood 2011 (she also has a tonneau cover)
New hood cover (duck) 2011
New 3 part clutch 2012New front brake calipers 2011Electronic Aldon ignition 2011Magnecor high performance leads 2011New fuel pump 2012New brake master cylinder 2012New clutch master cylinder2012Chrome rocker sourced a nice period featureMotolita wooden steering wheel 2011 she also comes with her original Triumph 3 spoke bakelite wheel
Rocker oil feed pipe 2011 (good Triumph upgrade)
New radio c/d 2011 (she also comes with her original Motorola push button)New under dash console 2011
oil and volt gauges 2011replaced dynamo with alternator 2011K and N air filters 2012
Rear Securon seat beltsNew 5. 5 inch wide Minilite style wheels4 new tyres 2011 hardly showing any wear.

I think that's all but will add anything i've forgotten. We have loved owning her but really think now she needs to be used. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or better still pop over and take a look. I have set a realistic starting price and because she has to go there is no reserve so grab yourself a bargain for summer.

UK bidders only and please bid to buy not haggle. if you are not sure about owning a 1960's car please come over for a test and a chat before bidding you might even get a cuppa! Ebayers with less than 5 feedback please contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled immediately. Apologies to all the genuine ebayers but I have had a a few non paying time wasters in the past. Cash as always is fine as is pay pal once the funds have cleared.

good luck and happy bidding :o)
