Reluctantly having to move on my DC to help fund a 58 Beetle resto and house roof replacement  (priorities!). so offered here for sale:
1979 UK RHD Crewcab with custom made twin-skinned aluminium pod on the load bed. covered with removable canvas tilt which also provides the rear door/window.
MOT to July 2017. passed with no advisories whatsoever. Running a very strong and clean 1600TP with correctly tuned weber progressive carb fuelled by Facet electronic pump and Malpassi Filter King filter/regulator.  
Interior needs finishing. I've never been fussed by the utilitarian interior  (no headliner or door cards) but it means you can add your stamp.  
Front seats are I believe of Saab origin and make for a far more comfortable ride than original.  
Crew cab compartment currently houses a storage unit. travel fridge and leisure battery plus makes for a great change room if you're a surfer or body boarder. I've used the van for the past three years for boarding. it's guaranteed to add to your cool vibes when you step out of the cab in your wetsuit. I'll miss that when she's gone!
She's finished in excellent condition two tone off white/Neptune Blue and polishes up a real treat. There are a few very minor blemishes and a tiny amount of rust bubbling through the bottom of the passenger door skin. but nothing at all major. The passenger door and crewcab door have both been de-handelled by a distant previous owner. Not my thing but I've lived with it in my few years of ownership. Both open from the inside. Running at standard height on stock steelies. stand out from the lowered alloy booted crowd!
Wants for nothing to use immediately other than interior touches if desired. Bodywork is very good save for some slightly funky panel gaps from a previous resto. tiny little bit of bubbling just on the passenger door bottom and a debt behind the front number plate where I reversed a T4 with a towbar into her. Gutted!
Sale includes leisure battery. inverter. 240v site electrical hookup. awning - basically everything you need to jump in and hit the road for some seriously cool camping!
