THIS CORVETTE IS A NUMBER MATCHING 350/300 4-SPEED MANUAL WITH THE ULTIMATE OPTION LIST OF POWER STEERING. POWER BRAKES & WINDOWS PLUS BOTH HARD & SOFT TOPS  -   TWO OWNERS FROM NEW WITH A WARRANTED MILEAGE OF ONLY 35. 00 !


HISTORY.   The 1st owner was the Oil Minister for the United Arab Emirates. Mana Saieed Al Otaiba. This was from being delivered new in 1970 through to mid 1979. The car was then purchased by it's 2nd and only other owner. a UK oil engineer who shipped the car straight to the UK. He has owned the car for the last 37 years here in the UK. yes one owner for the last 37 years. garaged throughout in darkest Norfolk. The total mileage to date is still only 35. 00 and that is warranted correct.
INTERIOR.   The dash top & face are superb. carpets mint. seats showing just that bit of wear that's acceptable. door cards the same. The original radio & seat belts are still in place as is the original 4-speed shifter. The centre console & park brake surround are superb. The weather-seals all seem to be original. and although obviously not as new. certainly do not require changing.
EXTERIOR.   Super. super straight. with perfect gaps throughout. The paintwork presents well with no cracks or micro etc. but it lacks lustre. It may come back with a power compounding but overall it's showing it's age. The chrome-work is excellent. very good bumpers and really exceptional front grills and bumper guards. All the bolt on bright-work parts such as emblems. outside door handles. mirrors. sill trims. carpet trims. the correct exhaust outlets & radio mast etc have been replaced over the years and all are really superb. Even the front bib is new. Going underside. the frame is as rock solid as you'll find. I cannot see signs of welding and believe me I've looked. just a bone dry underside which will mot tomorrow. The four steel rally wheels have just been powder coated in the correct silver and Goodyear Eagles fitted all round.
HARD-TOP.   The hard-top is excellent. All the interior panels are virtually as they left the factory.
SOFT-TOP.    Still virtually as new. perfect rear window and it fits very well.
MECHANICS.  The car is a number matching 350/300 with the car's vin & CTD suffix clearly visible on the block pad. The car is a first time starter with correct oil pressure. it runs through it's gears well with nothing undue to report on any of the drive-train. The full brake system has had recent work including all new rotors. all new stainless calipers. plus new hard lines & flexis etc. There are no leaks from the p/steering and the exhaust also looks recent. The only thing I will point out is a sleepy vacuum system to lights & wiper deck lid. Don't ask me why as most parts in the system look to be very recent. but there's definitely attention needed there.
LINCOLNSHIRE CORVETTES. The car has just had a full engine service by Paul Allen. new oils/filters etc and I have to say. I cannot recommend Lincolnshire Corvettes enough - top guys. top company!


So that's it - find another like this if you can!  2 owners. the 1st being the United Arab Emirates Oil Minister. the 2nd in the UK for the last 37 years. and all with a warranted mileage of only 35. 00 from new. Both sets of keys are with the car plus a bulging folder of history. The car has covered no mileage since it's last mot and is currently tested in to 2017.  
This C3 is an absolute one off in terms of history. mileage and options. The car can be owned as it is or re-painted in your own time. plus the car has both tops. all recent stainless brakes. recent exhaust & new tyres on new rims. the list just goes on & on!
I've put the car in a 7-day auction from £15. 00 and we'll see how it goes from there. Trust me. it's worth loads. loads more!  You'll see chrome bumper C3 convertibles in the £30 to £35K bracket now. and this one is a warranted 2 owner / 35. 00 miles car.
