Up for sale is a 1964 Impala.
This is a left hand drive imported car. it was imported about 5 years ago. It comes with all import papers. it has been registered for most of that time on Club rego (This is not transferable to you).

It is a 1964 Impala Super sport coupe. This is a matching number 327 and 2 speed power glide shifter. getting hard to find these days.
The interior is the original black leather and is in mint condition (bar one crack on the dash which could be fixed easily).

When i bought it. the 327 was on its way out so i removed it and did a L98 6 speed conversion (which is still in the car - about 15K worth). this runs beautifully and is great on gas for a cruiser with plenty of power. (The motor was second hand and has noisy lifters. not a big deal but something to keep in mind).
The brakes have been upgraded to discs on the front with a new brake booster and lines installed. The car has been professionally lowered with king springs and custom made shocks.
It has a custom made electronic dash installed. the fuel system has been upgraded to suit the newer motor with a new fuel tank. fuel pump and return line.

The car is in good condition for its age. i bought it as a weekend cruiser and got carried away with doing upgrades and mucking around with it. The X frame is straight and in great condition. (I made sure the L98 HP wouldnt stress the frame out before installing it).

It comes with the original 327 (which needs a rebuild/ freshen up and the original power glide.   these are both matching numbers to this super sport. )
It has nice mag wheels on the car. in great condition. no scuff marks at all - like brand new. Grey center/ chrome dish - photos dont do them justice - plus they could do with a clean.

Rust wise its pretty good. only one spot under the car that needs to be cut out and replaced. a very small spot that will be easy to do. the rest is surface rust coming through the paint. bubbles etc. but as anyone would agree - you dont know until you strip it back. so im not saying much more than that. - on the outside its not too bad.

Im not in any hurry to sell. I have a few other projects i am doing so this has been sitting for years now. Iv spent a lot of money on the car so far. The last part of the plan is to strip it down. paint the body and clean up the x frame. then it would be a clean car. This is not a 90% finished project. it still needs a lot of work but to the right person wouldnt be much. The hard part of engineering the LS swap is done. i still have all the original parts so can sell without the LS parts if wanted.

Just seeing whats out there and whos interested really. Not looking for a quick sell. iv been brutally honest with the flaws. but i know what its worth. if i cant find the right price it will become a Sunday project at the new factory.

I may consider swaps for a completed Harley Dyna plus cash either way to suit.

Other than that just after the cash to fund other life projects.
