You are looking at the sale of this lovely and now very sought after little fiat 500. This is a very genuine sale as its been part of my friends private little collection for a long time and due to his advancing years  the car was just sitting in his garage unused most of the time so I have offered to get the car in a more saleable condition so its had over £700 spent on it in the last few weeks.

This little car was originally  given away in a promotion by Jack Barclay of Mayfair . olls Royce and Bentley dealer. It has the original plaque on the centre console and the matching number plate JLB 345K.

I recently contacted Jack Barclays and had a good chat with the sales manager and he told me that during the 1971-72 period they run these promotions as a tie in with fiat but very few where given away this way . Especially with the JLB registration number which was usually only used for high end Bentley or Rolls Royce. (Cant be many like this left)

The car during the 70`s was very seldom used as a second car by the original owners and then passed into the hands of a couple of collectors over the years so the mileage of 2. 00 miles is believed correct. It spent many many years off the road so we don't have a great deal of paperwork to prove the mileage until it was Recommissioned and moted in 1999 with 549 miles on the clock. We have a load of old Mots going back the last  12-15 years

It had a respray a few years ago but it's a slightly lighter shade of yellow but it looks very good and unless it was pointed out  you probably wouldn't know.

The bodywork is in very good condition throughout  and the interior is excellent (Very original)

It has its original 499cc air cooled engine which starts very well and runs smooth. The gearbox is also original but it's the 2 syncro crash style. So is a bit of a handful to master especially after many years of short journeys but it works well and again is very original.

The 5 X original steel wheels have been professionally shot blasted and powder coated in the original fiat silver and look excellent.

The fiat had fitted when new 4 x Britax seatbelts front and back and look great

The original jack. with small fiat tool kit in the original plastic case

The interior is in great condition with very clean and tidy and original seats .

I have a small box of paperwork with old magazines and  workshop manual  and last good few years mots. Plus a load of old receipts and invoices.

It will also come with a large box full of spares including a spare exhaust. Points Leads ect.

This is a very genuine honest car and we welcome any checks on it as there is nothing to hide. (CHECK OUR FEEDBACK) I have the full V5 with all paperwork .

This little car is not perfect but is overall very original. The paintwork has some micro blisters in a few places where its reacted with the old paint but only noticable if pointed out. f unsure please arrange a viewing.
