1932 Standard Little Nine – Mark 1

Prior to my purchase and re-commissioning of this car it had not been taxed since 1986 and during the intervening period is believed to have been part of a private car collection until 2015.

It has now been serviced and ready for its next owner to enjoy.

The car is in very good condition and was extensively restored a number of years ago with the underside and running gear being rust free and in very good condition.

The bodywork is rust free and in excellent condition with only minor blemishes and has a nice patina; the interior retains its original door cards whilst the upholstery and headlining were renewed a few years ago and are in excellent condition. The sun roof is fully working as are all the original instruments including the clock.

The tyres and tubes were replaced earlier this year and the rear springs were re-built at the same time. The registration is original and the indicated mileage of less than 72. 00 miles may be genuine considering its history and it is believed to have had only 3 or 4 owners as the sale includes the original logbook.

This car is a rare survivor being one of very few of these 84 year old cars to survive what was once the largest motor manufacturer in Coventry. who went on the buy Triumph Cars.

The sale includes some paperwork and a few photographs of the rebuild along with a few spares.

There are a few more photographs available for buyers who are genuinely interested.

The car is available to be viewed in a village between Leeds and York by prior arrangement.

Is this car still for sale

Mindful that you indicate that you have the original Log Book for this vehicle I believe it may have belonged to my grandfather who would have been the second owner until the late 1950's early 1960's. Whilst in a different Blue with Black wings I recall it was Reg GW ?
At that time it was based in Caterham and
I have often wondered where it went after he gave up driving
