2000 Subaru Impreza GC8 with a swapped 2002 EJ205 engine. I completed the swap a little over a year ago and she has been running great ever since. The engine has 50k and runs strong with great compression. This really is the engine they should have put in this platform.  She gets a lot of looks and is a blast to drive.
The body is in fair shape for a 16-year-old car. No rust and I was planning on painting it soon but want to focus on other projects instead so this gives you the opportunity to create your own build.
Added bolt ons:
Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust
Magnaflow Race Cat on Godspeed Downpipe
COBB Tuning EBCS
K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake
COBB V3 AccessPort with Stage 2+ Tune
Grimmspeed Top Mount Intercooler w/Splitter–HUGE!
22mm Whiteline Rear Sway Bar with Mounts (I have a Cusco 22mm Front as well included in sale)
Optima Red Top Battery with new (as in brand new. no rebuilds) Alternator
Walbro 255 Fuel PumpUpgraded pitchstop

It's putting down about 250whp right now. which is pretty good for this light of a chassis.
Mechanically it's all there. the wiring harness was professionally merged by Iwire (build 505 I think) and everything works except cruise control which I deleted and took out the factory alarm for simplicity.  AC works. just needs a recharge. Interior is in good condition with no rips or tears in the seats. Chassis and transmission have 192k. The trans shifts smoothly but does pop out of 5th gear sometimes which I think is an easy syncro fix and really hasn't posed much of a problem in the last three years I've owned it. Or do as I was and swap that six speed in… Upgraded ACT Stage 1 Clutch which grabs nicely and has no issues. it runs a drives great. Coilovers or struts will be needed soon the front struts are getting squeaky but no leaks.  Does not burn or leak oil. it does have the OEM head gaskets which weren't designed the best so an upgrade would be recommended.
Six spoke 15in Subaru wheels. tires are meh. I was saving these for winter wheels and looking for 17's but they have no curb rash or dents. Like I said all of the leg work is taken out of this project. now just fun stuff that fits your particular style.  FD RX-7 trades may be considered depending on condition.
Decent examples of GC8's are getting harder and harder to come by and a lot of the wrench time has been done for you with this swap.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
ThanksTaylor
