1965 MUSTANG GT 289 4 speed

Up for sale is my beautiful rust free 1965 Mustang GT coupe. Car has had a complete nut and bolt rebuild and have dozens of pictures of the process. Body is all genuine Ford panels except tail light panel. front bumper upper apron. inner boot floor side drop down panels and battery tray. Perfect original rust free rails and correct tripple Vin engine bay panels. Original GT radiator support. GT front fenders and GT 1/4 panels. Even the lower aprons and bumpers are genuine (rechromed). Body is sprayed in correct 2k caspian blue but with midnight blue satin GT stripes on the bonnet. Car has unmolested correct dash with GT spotlight switch mount and original radio and speaker (not working). Correct original GT wiring loom. GT tagged steering box. T rear floor pan and guages. Rallye Pac guages not connected.

Motor is 1965 correct 289 that has done approx 10000ml. Balanced. bored 30 thou. oil pump. valves and guides. all bearings etc as you would expect. New original style fuel pump. new eng mounts. nbsp;rebuilt 600 Holley and tagged '65 289 inlet manifold. Hooker headers fitted with an as new twin system. Factory manual ordered car that did have a toploader but now has a T10 4 speed. Heavy duty clutch. new speedo cable and brand new tailshaft including ford yoke. Rebuilt 3. 00 diff centre including axle seals and bearings. New non gen booster and master cylinder. wheel cylinders. brake hoses. brake pipes and rear drums. Correct Kelsey Hayes 4 spot calipers and new pads.  Engine. gearbox and diff oils. spark plugs. brake fluid are all fresh.

Interior is all new. GT steering wheel. seat trim kit. carpet. hoodlining. dash pad. door trims. arm rests. gauge facia. dash knobs and full weather seal kit. Has a brand new windscreen and factory ordered tinted glass. Interior factory order is Blue on Blue. but is now Blue on White on Blue Pony seats.

Other new items are fuel tank. tail light housings. some stainless moulds. idler arm. suspension/sway bar bushes. pedders gas shockers all round. pedders front heavy duty springs. JRS lowered rear leaf springs and rear shackle kit.

Wheels are correct 14" x 6" American racing with new 215/65/14" tyres.
