A superb example of the most popular model in the Mercedes R107 range. this Mercedes 300SL was registered in August 1988 and was supplied by Westwood Mercedes-Benz. Blackburn to Mr M. Hughes of Grindleton. Lancashire.

As a post-1986 (facelift) R107 it benefits from galvanised body panels. improved suspension and brakes plus a switchable sports/economy gearbox in addition to various cosmetic changes.

SERVICE HISTORY
The car comes with a comprehensive history folder comprising a fully stamped service book. together with a 50+ pages of invoices amounting to over £10k.

The paintwork and chrome are bright. free from rust and have a good depth of shine. The blue soft top has no tears. pulled seams or discoloration to the rear windows. The interior is also in excellent order and benefits from a subtle Blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth/iPhone connectivity.

Numerous commentators including Quentin Wilson are citing these R107 SL's as great investments and prices are rising steadily. Mercedes R107 SL's are a classic car that can be used every day and the 300SL is regarded by many as ‘the one to have'.
