escort mk 1 2 door. not mexico or rs

1968 mk 1 escort registered as as escort super with 1600 cc on log book. this is a nearly complete car. the only bits that look like they are missing is the n/s/r glass front and rear seats and some brake pipes. it has door cards but as you can see. they are blue. It has supposedly got a 2. 1 pinto (this is not verified). 5 speed sierra gearbox with propshaft and engine mounts. h and the radiator is toast. It also has a 6 point roll cage. Body. the roof has been taken back to bare metal +2k primed inside and out (really solid no rust). Over £2. 000. 00 spent on replacment panels. e. full floors. chassis rails. bulkhead. inner top wings. A posts and more. all parts being bought from Expressed panels. All these parts will need to be fitted. well I did start) as the shell is quite rottenI was doing it about 3 years ago. had to do other things and never got back on it. nd now sick of looking at it. t will still need a lot of work but the base is there I suppose. With all these panels done. et a new front panel and that would pretty much call the front end done. The rear arches will need doing. and inner arches but only up to swage line. I was going to bubble arch it. so it would not have been a problem. The boot floor looks good. s does the bottom of the rear wings. The top half of the rear wings are good but there is a small amount of work to do in the boot rain channel. but not bad) and the rear panel has been replaced at some time. Front wings. The light blue with rs strips are fibre glass. dark blue ones are steel stockers. did start repairing the spot weld flange  on one wing. they are salvagable. here are 2 spare rs wing lips as well. Boot has been bare metaled there is a small amount of rust on the bottom lip. again easy repair. Bonnet looks ok. O/S door has been bare metaled. as had a small repair done  to the lower front corner(not a bad job)N/S door has  issue`s all along the bottom. The blue bucket seats are pretty good. ust need a good clean. Dash board. rear bulkhead. and parcel shelf were removed for ease of work only. still have them)On the up side. the hand brake is still really good and 3 tyres stay inflated. I will try to answer some of the more silly questions before I get them. Yes the tyres have loads of tread left. No I dont want to part ex for a BMW or similar. No I will not sell bits of the car. No I will not take £2500. 00. And no it cannot be done in a weekend with a halfords tool kit. If you bid and win. dont turn up and go . h its not as good as it looks in the picture. because I will say it again. ts rotten. but I do have most of the panels to make it a good shell again. Like I said there is over £2000 of quality panels. (not this chinese  rubbish). again this is not a weekend fixer-upper. but if you like your fords this could be the project for you. NOT THAT I NEED TO TELL YOU BUT IF YOU WIN. BRING A VAN AND TRAILOR
