1980 Triumph TR8 V8 Convertible 

Just arrived in Ipswich from the Sunny USA. This is an original factory built Triumph TR8 Convertible with the Factory fitted Rover V8 3528cc Engine. 5 speed Manual & Factory fitted Power Steering.

Repeat: This is a rare factory built TR8. NOT a TR7 conversion.

Paint professionally refreshed in it's original Poseidon Green some years ago the car has a lovely shine with just a few age related stonechips.

This is a rustfree car ; we can find no evidence anywhere of corrosion; the underside is pristine.

Tan interior in good shape. the leather steering wheel has ‘dried‘ due to the hot climate.
Rev counter is inop.



It retains it's original engine & runs very well. having an Edelbrock performance intake.

Holley carb & Performance filter; fitted with dual exhausts it's a VERY quick car.



Original hood is serviceable but would be best replaced at some point in the next few years.

All Goodyear tyres in very good shape. alloys excellent.

Under bonnet & inside boot also in great condition – you could even polish the paint if you wanted to!



Overall a sound & truly rare rust free car that's virtually ready to hop in & drive.
