Here we have my 1973 2 Door Range Rover. Its a pretty early Suffix B as it still retains many Suffix A features. Suffix B's were only produced for 8-9 months which actually makes them much rarer than a Suffix A!

Its in need of restoration. but as far as these go its not a bad one and looks worse than it is!. Was originally Bahama Gold (Last owner painted it Nato Green!) It was last on the road in 1997. and has been undercover for the last few years.

Unlike most 2 doors on here this one still retains most of its original features. 3 spoke steering wheel (currently removed. but present). raised lettering. 'by land rover badge'. goal post profile unique only to suffix A's and very early B's on upper boot frame near wiper. pvc matting with carpet gear tunnel (suffix B's had carpet tunnels not plastic). Has one wing mirror arm left. centre bonnet catch. even still sits on its original michelin tyres!

It needs the usual Range Rover repairs to the body. but its certainly not a bad one. the back end it pretty good. as is bulkhead. will certainly want sills. work on front innerwings and footwells. Chassis is solid. also has a stainless exhuast system.

Gearbox with overdrive and axles are original. engine is from a rover car. and was put in the Range Rover in 1978ish so I was told. However sadly the engine thats in it will not turn over. all the bores are clean except for one that has rust in it when i removed the plugs to investigate. However I sourced another 3. 5 engine. which came out of a 2 door Range Rover I drove 2 years ago. and ran very well and will go with this.

Theres a few spare body panels. an original bonnet with all correct fixing holes for mirrors and lettering. a pair of door bottoms in excellent conditon. some tailgates and a few other bits. also not pictured is a complete front innerwing too.

Lots of interior parts too. many are spare bits I have collected aswell as many of its original items. The original starting handle is still in position behind tool curtain. Theres loads of spare rubber seals and things too.

I do have a folder of old MoT's and bits and pieces for it. the last owner ownd it from the early 1980s until when I purchased it 3 years ago. Log book all present and in my name

The biggest component that is missing is the seats. the seats do still exsist but sadly the last owner sold them before I got the car! They do however belong to someone I know and will be available once hes had his originals back from being re trimmed. So it is sold without seats. as they were never mine. They were plastic PVC ones

I also have loads more photos and can take more if need be.

Viewing highly recomended. it will need trailering away. rolls freely and can assist with loading it up. Genuine reason for sale. have way too many projects!
