The Last Year of the Mighty C3 Corvette!!  

The last of the Vettes to retain the wonderful styling of the Mako Shark but with any imperfections ironed out.

I am offering this stunning matching numbers 1979 corvette for sale.  

Red and black with American racing turbine alloy wheels (wheels patterned after the 1967 model's bolt-on alloys).

Looks and sounds awesome. turns heads everywhere it goes. This is an extremely reliable and comfortable High Performance Muscle Car.

She is completely restored and has been extremely well cared for by its previous owner.  

She runs and drives beautifully and has only 87360 miles from new. She has good oil pressure with no knocks and moves through her gears smoothly.

The car was fully restored in 2013 in a retro style. She has giant black side pipes. the rear lights and panel were changed to that of an older model vette (with the chrome rings on the lights). she has lovely classic chrome door mirrors. the original seats have been replaced with older styled retro sport seats (which are larger and more comfortable).  

The car also had a full respray. the engine was rebuilt (completely original. it even still has the GM carb which I believe is a Rochester. original chrome dizzy heat shield. original air box and intake. dressed in a retro style. colour coded to the car in black and red). she was given a chrome oil sump. new American racing wheels. New tyres (with white lettering). New brake lines. rebuilt rear brake caliper. rebuilt vacuum system including new light actuators. New Anti-roll bars on both sides.  

After being restored the car was bought by a collector in Pennsylvania who kept it in a barn with a collection of 30's hot rods. but never drove it. I brought her to the Uk. Mot'd and registered her in my name. I have also given her a full service. changed the brake fluid. changed the rev counter. oil sender. new horn. and re dyed the carpet.

The car's interior is spotless. completely black. every dial works as it should. She has a very fancy racing style clock. she has a retro style modern stereo with digital tuner and the ability to play your mp3 player. The electric windows work. heater works. everything works.

The car has colour coded T top panels.

The car has no leaks of oil or any other fluid. runs beautifully. drives beautifully and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

An awesome sound track from the growling 350 and amazing performance.

MOT till 14th September 2017. Insurance is only £200! A truly usable daily driver that is such a pleasure to drive. easy to park thanks to Power Steering. stops on a dime thanks to (newly overhauled) Power Brakes. The soundtrack with the windows down is the best entertainment though. Remove the targa roof and enjoy the wind in your hair.

The car has no rust on the bird cage or under the car. The body is in great condition with no spidering or fibreglass delamination.

Everything on the car works as it should. The cars heating is fine but the AC has had its belt removed.

I have registered the car to be driven in the UK. She comes with all the normal Uk documents in my name. she has a fresh MOT and she is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
