Hi and thanks for looking at my Impala SS project. Seems 20 years ago we would pass on this for a parts car. Enter 2016 and they are next to impossible to find!   I'm sure you have been looking. if you are reading my description.  Please look closely at all of the pictures . THIS CAR IS A PROJECT AND DOES NOT RUN!   If you are still reading here are the specifics. Factory REAL SS (please see trim tag) Factory California Yellow with Black interior. See writing on the Firewall. It has a CLEAR California title in MY name. No funny paperwork. (pic of actual pink slip)
Obviously she has some rust issues. The floor and braces are pretty much gone. I have a very nice used floor with all of the braces. additionally I bought a 1 piece floor and braces new from Classic industries in Huntington Beach. Both go with the car. Fenders are pretty rough so I have 2 really nice solid OEM fenders included. The trunk is actually pretty solid. Only needs a few patches on the seam areas. Trunk lid is pretty good and useable. The hood is decent. I got a good deal on a replacement so I bought it. The doors open and close ok. The Quarters could either be patched or replaced. The lower area is rusted but is solid above the beltline. I do have some used trim and emblems. (not a complete set.  THE FRAME APPEARS VERY SOLID AND IS THE ORIGINAL CONVERTIBLE FRAME TO THE CAR!  The convertible Top is all there as are the pistons. It does fold up without binding. Obviously needs a new top. She does come with 2 bucket seats I bought but no tracks. Lots of aftermarket ones available. Has the narrow rear seat back for a Vert. (next to impossible to find) No rear bottom cushion. All rears re the same so this isn't much of a problem.
Motor is not original to the car. It looks to be a 1967 327 2 bolt main 4bbl carb.  The Powergide is there as well. No brakes. The 15' Torque Thrusts DO go with the car. Driveshaft is there but is disconnected from the rear end. I have not tried to start it. Assume it needs to be rebuilt.
My reason for selling is I also have a 63 SS coupe on a rotisserie I have spent a ton of time putting in the floor etc. I thought I would see if this one sells to finish my 63.  I am very realistic about this car. I do know their value. I have a fair reserve. I am not really interested in any trades.
Please. please look at the pictures before bidding. Please don't bid if you aren't serious. under 5 feedback please contact me before bidding. Otherwise I will have to cancel your bid. I am happy to answer any questions. My name is Scott 909-969-4306. or you can email me. We will gladly sell worldwide. Obviously funds need to clear before she leaves. I will carefully pack the parts into the car if you have it shipped. We have Tow trucks and can assist your shipper.
Thank you for looking.
