Muscle Car Garage:We are a private collection of 50's. 60's. & 70's muscle cars. We also do topside restorations in our Jacksonville and Orlando area locations. From time to time we offer one of our collector vehicles up for sale. These are mainly topside restorations that can be driven to local car shows and cruise ins. Many of our vehicles are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing very nice driver quality restorations for all to enjoy. We are not a concourse restorer and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if your choose to do so.
All Around Details:Up for auction is our incredible 1965 Shelby Cobra Replica. This is an older build done about 14 years ago. This is a high quality kit with a hand fabricated square tube chassis and fiberglass body by "CJ Cobra". The Cobra has a recent "Power by Ford" professionally built 302 that is super strong pushing around 365hp. Attached is a World Class Tremec 5 Speed with hydraulic clutch. Rear end is a bullet proof Ford 9" with 3:50 gears. This Cobra has power rack and pinion steering and 4 wheel disc brakes including Wilwood disc brake kit on the rear. This car has an NOS bottle with a 250hp shot that is hooked up for "show" but has never been turned on with this motor. This car has adjustable coil over shocks at all 4 corners and wheels and tires are brand new. Has external oil cooler and external dual oil filters. The paint. even though older. is still in very good condition and shines excellent. There are some small scratches from over time that have been hand touched up. Cobra has the cool vintage gauges and all of them work including the back lighting. Wipers work but arms are in trunk. Horn also works. There is no radio. Has racing seat belts and correct Lemans Gas Cap. This car runs and drives incredible and everything works and performs as it should.
Exterior Details:Cobra has original paint to the build but it is very good condition. It is a base coat cleat coat maroon with silver/gray stripes and gumball number (removable vinyl). It is not perfect due to some scratches and nicks but is still very presentable. Car has correct aluminum Lemans racing fuel filler cap and wind wings and visors attached to the windshield. Has correct single bullet outside mirror mounted on driver fender. Hood has correct release levers but are just for show and correct look. Car has remote cable actuated release under dash. Cobra has new 17" wheels and tires which show off the 4 wheel disc brake set up. Up front is the correct oil cooler with aircraft fittings and braided lines. Has stainless side exhaust pipes that sound and look incredible. Car has great racing stance and looks awesome.
Interior Details:Car has custom gray seating with maroon piping. This is the original interior on the build and does have a few small wear spots. Door panels and kick panels are also finished in the same gray vinyl. Car has correct location vintage gauges and all of them work. Has European LeCarra steering wheel made for Cobra. The diamond plate mats are functional but are removable should you choose to pull them out. Has racing belts mounted to the floorboard but have been converted to a two point system for ease of driving. Car also has correct angle mounted short shaft shifter.  Carpet is in great condition with no tears or fading. All gauge lighting works as it should.
Engine Bay & Mechanical:Motor was professionally built by "Power by Ford" here in Orlando. It is a very strong 302 producing around 365hp on pump gas. There is a NOS bottle fully hooked up with a 250hp shot but it has never been used in this motor.  I just kept it for car shows and the novelty of it.  The motor has an MSD electronic ignition. power rack and pinion steering. 4 wheel manual disc brakes including Wilwood rear disc brakes. The transmission is a "World Class" Tremec 5 Speed with a high performance hydraulic clutch.  Cobra has a bulletproof 9" rear end with a 3:50 gear ratio. The car has adjustable chrome coil over shocks at all 4 corners. This Cobra has an external oil cooler and dual external oil filters as well as an aluminum radiator and electric fan. This car runs. drives. brakes. and steers incredibly. This is mechanically very sound and highly reliable.
Summary:This fantastic Cobra has a high end drivetrain that was professionally built. From the Power by Ford 302 paired with the World Class Tremec 5 Speed attached to the 9" Ford rear end. This car looks. performs. and has great eye appeal. Everything is in working order and there is no surprises. This car is bone dry underneath with no exhaust leaks. oil leaks. or rear end leaks. Just turn the key. hold on. and go. This is a high performing car with great looks and drivability. You can take this car to local car shows and cruise in's and enjoy.
