1984 Silver Audi Quattro Turbo WR

Up for auction is my quattro turbo that I've owned for only a few months.   I originally bought it to tidy up and enjoy during the summer months. but I have now realised I don't really have the spare time.

The car is in generally good condition for its age with 165. 00 miles. with tax until the end of July and MOT until the end of August 2013. The car is HPI clear.

I have every MOT from new. aswell as the original sales receipt and lots of documentation and receipts from over the years.

The engine runs very well. and has had a full engine and turbo rebuild in 2000/2001 by Dialynx with an invoice totalling £8393 to prove.

There is a Cobra alarm and immobiliser fitted. and the car comes with two keys and keyfobs.

The alloy wheels have had a recent complete refurb. and have zero kerbing. Also the Toyo T1-R tyres all round are not far off new.

It has a full stainless exhaust system fitted.

I have recently replaced the gear selector bushing with a genuine Audi item. so now the car changes gear as it should.

There are a couple of welded repair sections on the drivers side sill that need to be filled and sprayed as can be seen in the pictures.

Also the rear drivers side arch requires some attention.

All of the passenger side sills and arches are solid. and the floorpan is also nice and solid.

The digital dash is unfortunately no longer fully working. I have purchased another digi dash which will be included with the car. I haven't currently got the time to fit it or try and make a good one out of the two.

The interior is all original (apart from a Pioneer CD player) and in fairly good condition. There is some wear on the seat bolsters to be expected.

The voice synthesizer works correctly. It currently keeps informing me to check the coolant level. even though the level is fine.   I suspect the sensor in the header tank is duff or needs a clean out.

One other problem is one of the rear brake calipers is sticking slightly so that will need sorting.

There are a few other small rust spots around the car. and a bit of lacquer peel on the drivers side C pillar.

With a bit of TLC this car would be amazing.
