Pontiac: Firebird 400 | eBay

This 1967 Firebird 400 includes what appears to be the original engine & Transmission That General Motors installed in the car from the factory on March 13. 1967.   It was the 16. 71 Fire Bird To Roll Of the Assembly line.   Firebirds went on sale February 23 so this was a very early build.   This car was built on a 108. 1 inch wheelbase. The Firebird has an overall length of 188. 8 inches. is 72. 6 inches wide and 51. 5 inches high.   This car has the Optional “400” Performance package which includes the 400 cubic –inch V8 325 horsepower motor and includes wide oval red line tires. twin air scoops.   This car was equipped from the factory with Disc Front Brakes & Rear Drum Brakes.   It is believed that this car was originally ordered by a GM executive as it was ordered at the Pontiac Retail Store in Lordstown OHIO.
