I brought this car two years ago as my daily driver. When I brought the car I had it inspected and a lot of work done at Kingsdown Classics in Faringdon.
These are as follows: De-Dion elbows replaced. new rear springs. poly bushed throughout. rear brake callipers overhauled and pads replaced. heater box repaired. worn steering ball joints replaced.  I have also fitted an electronic ignition kit from Power Spark (Simon BBC) which included coil. ignition kit and rotor arm. I then replaced the distributor cap and HT leads at the same time. When you open the bonnet in the dark there are no sparks to be seen. In the past year I have changed the front brake pipes and pads. the radiator has been rebuilt including the oil cooler and the alternator. battery and front tyres were replaced.
I needed a reliable car as I do about 100 miles a week (10 miles each way to work) so the above work was done to ensure I would not be let down. The engine is also good. at 4. 30am when I leave for work I have not yet been let down. Even in the middle of winter just pull out the choke and away you go. I have changed the oil regularly every 3. 00 miles using classic oils. It has now done 146. 00 miles and this will rise as I am still using the car.

The car went through the M. O. T.  last month with no advisories and it is taxed until the end of August. For the M. O. T. the oil. filter and spark plugs were changed.
The car is in good original condition it has never been re-sprayed or restored. As with any cars of this age there are always some jobs that could be done. but it is very solid. this being one of the reasons why I bought it. There is an area of rust on the passenger sills (inner and outer) that will need to be looked at in the future. but no holes as of yet.  It was Zeibart treated when new and this has helped to preserve it.

The car is in Cameron Green and has all its original panels. It has never been restored or re-sprayed and all the pannels and inner wings are very solid. The boot lid could be with a bit of attention as it has faded slightly. The interior is full cream leather with box pleat seats. The front seats do have wear. they are 38 years old but they do not have any holes or tears and could easily restored.
The windows are all Sundym and original with the registration etched on all of them. It also has a heated rear screen. a laminated windscreen and it is also fitted with power steering.

It is a 3 previous owner car. The first owner had the car from 25th April 1975 until 21st June 2004 completing approx. 117. 00 miles. The second owner kept the car until 5th August 2006 taking the miles to approx. 127. 00 miles. The third owner sold me the car 22nd February 2011 with approx. 133. 00 miles. There is not alot of previous history with the car but it has always been well looked after and maintained.

I also have an Autobook. workshop and parts manual to go with the car as well as a few spares and bits and pieces.

The car is advertised elsewhere.

This is a good solid car that can be either used daily or with a bit of attention would make a good show car.

I beleive you can only restore a car once and they should be used as they were meant to be. It is no garage queen but a good genuine classic car.
