Here we have an amazing example of the very rare E30 318 IS. These cars were nicknamed the ‘Baby M3′ and were built to take on the hot hatches of the time. Golf GTI's. XR3i's etc. So they were produced at the end of the E30 run. using the excellent 1. 8 16 valve twin cam engine. Sports suspension. Manual gearbox etc. As the production run was only 2 years. they are now one of the rarest of the E30's and sure to go up in value very quickly now !.
This example is finished in Alpine White paintwork. Its in truly excellent condition. this is a car ready to show. The paintwork has an amazing deep all over shine. no dings or dents. solid arches all round etc. You just cant find them in this sort of condition. this really is as good as they come now ! This example obviously comes with the distinctive and original 318is front spoiler. along with the rear spoiler. colour coded bumpers. larger alloys etc.
The interior is finished in the Anthracite Sports check cloth. This again is in excellent condition. every where you look its all very clean and original. There is a lovely Msport steering wheel. gear knob. The excellent condition continues to all the trim and door cards. carpets. headlining etc.
The wheels on this car are the larger 15inch BMW BBS Alloys. They are all in excellent condition. no mark. no curbing. they look stunning.
The engine bay and boot areas are just as nice as on the rest of this lovely car. Look underneath this car and is all just as good. All original sills / jacking points etc. all in lovely original condition.
Now we get to the best bit. how this car drives. Well its amazing. excellent well balanced suspension. lovely tight steering. it has a real sporty feel. The engine sounds and performs as good as any you will find. The engine is so responsive and eager to rev. just has they were designed to be. This model on paper has similar performance as the 2. 5 Msport. yet it achieves it in a very different way. This model encourages you to use the revs of the engine. everything feels much lighter. I guess thats why it was nicknamed the ‘Baby M3′ as it feels very balanced and its got that superb power unit upfront.
I think that give you an idea how good this example is. You could spend years looking for one as good as this. so with prices sure to rise. this example must be seen.
