Very rare. beautiful transitional model. I bought my first one in 1961. and have only seen 3 in my life. and have owned them all. This particular example is a right-hand-drive 4 seater restored some years ago by a previous owner. At some point in its life. the original equipment Standard Vanguard engine was up-graded with a twin carb TR3 head. producing a reported 100 horsepower.  The car is completely presentable and serviceable as it stands. It's not a Pebble Beach candidate. but could easily participate in local shows. If you planned to do a lot of long-distance touring. you would want to replace the canvas top. and possibly. but not urgently. nbsp;the tires. This car is very peppy and lots of fun to drive. and has the unusual convenience of 4 seats. Also. this arrangement with adjustable front seats is perfect for taller drivers who don't fit comfortably in a standard 2 seater fixed seat Morgan cockpit. These cars are mechanically simple and need little maintenance. Parts are readily available in the unlikely event that they're needed. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. as they say. but I love the fared. low headlights. which remind me of my Type 57C Bugatti. The folding windshield is also a nice detail. which Morgan regretably discontinued in 1956.

Hi - just seen your advert. Apologies that I'm not a potential buyer, but I think my Dad owned this car in the UK in the late 50's and have been trying to track it down (I have a 1972 Morgan 4/4). Is the chassis number P3041?
