This is the RARE of the RARE in CONDITION of the late model full-sized Oldsmobile Convertibles. featuring the Rocket 350 V-8. 4 barrel carburetor. electronic ignition (its first year). and a 350 Hydra-Matic 3 speed transmission.

This automobile is in Outstanding "like new" ALL ORIGINAL survivor condition. with continuous preventative maintenance. This automobile has original mileage of just 34. 35 and has been garaged stored since day one showing no signs of sun fading or weather wear of any kind. The interior and carpets are spotless. The undercarriage and engine compartment are as nice as the topside – TRULY IMPRESIVE. The paint color is a rare "Crimson Red" (Code 72) and the interior is color keyed Cranberry Red. The top is original White and outstanding. The glove box features the owner's manuals & paperwork. original build sheet and original window sticker. plus the original shop manual is included.

This Olds has been owned since 2008. by a discerning Oldsmobile Club member and collector of Classic 1930's automobiles; and was previously in the private car collections of two different GM new car dealers (one in Pella. Iowa & the other in Topeka. Kansas). It is reluctantly being sold due to owner being short of garage space and not wanting to store the automobile away from their residence.

Power Equipment includes: steering. brakes. seat. windows. door locks. top. trunk release. air conditioning. cruise control. AM-FM stereo radio. tilt steering wheel. litter container (rare option). and wire wheel hubcaps. And. first year for the rectangular headlights.

Recent updates (receipts included): New tires (Kelly-Springfield narrow white wall radials). New exhaust - larger diameter pipe (free breathing). New heavy-duty (convertible spec. ) coil springs and heavy-duty Monroe shock absorbers. New heater core. New master cylinder. New fuel pump. several freeze plugs replaced. anti-freeze and oils. filters. belts. hoses. and a complete tune-up. wires. plugs. and cap.

A few minor items to mention include: the original paint on the rear driver's-side quarter panel has been touched-up along the bottom edge (perfect paint match). the windshield has a small chip in it. the clock is currently not working (it may need just a fuse). the air conditioning needs re-charged. and. there are a few minor small stone chips in the original paint (but far fewer than you'd ever expect to see in a 38 year-old car with 34k miles). Surprisingly efficient as well – EPA rated at 14 mpg City and 18 mpg Highway (1975 was a milestone for Oldsmobile efficiency).

Just 7181 produced in the last year of the B-body Full-Sized Convertible – 1975 (the last year of production). The 1973 - 1975 Convertibles were produced at two different GM Oldsmobile Plants; Lansing. Michigan and Fairfax. Kansas. Registry information indicates. most were produced at Building 90 Assembly Plant in Lansing. Michigan. The last car produced there was on July 11. 1975 while the last one produced at the Fairfax. Kansas plant was on July 8. 1975.
