You're bidding on a solid 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. It has the original numbers matching 340 engine. however. the transmission is a built 904 instead of the correct 727 transmission. It has the "489" 8 3/4 rear end with a 3. 23 posi unit.  I have folder containing the original build sheet and numerous receipts dating back to the 1990's.  Based on the records. the car was redone and painted red around 1990.  I believe that the original color scheme was yellow with a tan interior.

I will address the "good and bad" points of the car. Please ask any questions before you place your bid. The vehicle has been sitting for several years and it's being sold in an "as-is" condition.

It's a solid car that drives fairly well considering it has reproduction bias-ply tires. I replaced the following items on the car:

Dash/temp bezels

Edelbrock 650 AVS

KYB gas shocks

Gas tank and sending unit

Distributor. cap. rotor. points. condenser. spark plugs

I have other parts that will go with the car to include (4) full wheel covers. bumper guards. rear defroster unit. an Edelbrock RPM intake. and a period correct Carter AVS carburetor.

So here's the "bad". one of the issues I've had with this vehicle is the fluctuating temp and gas gauges.  I replaced what I could. I know that there are some MOPAR guys that could comment on that issue.

The rear end. the rear end appears to be whining and there's a "clunk" when you place it in gear depending on the RPM speed. The posi unit works since it will lay down two lines if you run it hard.

The driver's side door is not properly aligned as noted in the photograph.

The trunk is solid but there are come areas that have surface corrosion. no holes or rusted areas.

I believe the engine has a bigger cam than the factory 340. I replaced the carb but have had limited success in tuning the engine perfectly.

The lights. turn signals. radio and brakes all work. but I would recommend replacing the brakes.

Overall. nbsp;it's a solid vehicle that requires some fine tuning. there's not many in this condition. Good luck bidding!!!
