BMW E30 318i Convertible Cabriolet in amazing condition, very low mileage

This is a rare opportunity to buy a totally original highly collectable low mileage E30 at a reasonable price.

The car has a fully traceable history. It was owned by a lady in Bromsgrove for the first 20 years of its life then it was sold to a man who immediately sold it on to me (for a tidy profit) four years ago so essentially it has only had one previous proper owner. It has recently had an MOT and full service at a BMW main Dealer and has always been maintained regardless of cost. I have correspondence  from the original owner to support the low mileage and history.

In my ownership I have replaced all of the suspension. done the cam belt. changed the fuel lines. installed a new viscous coupling and most recently replaced the clutch and battery.  

The car is truly impressive and always creates a conversation wherever I take it. I had a service earlier this year and was not only approached by the man from the parts department who wanted to buy it but I found a note under the windscreen wiper from another offerer. I wasn't even slightly considering selling at the time so I followed neither lead up.  

I won't bleat on about my reasons for selling because you won't believe it and its not interesting but sufficient to say I want to sell the car but I don't need to so I am looking for near to my asking price and not open to silly offers.  

The car has a good thick history file. two keys. original manual and papers in the original pouch. The car has the original tool kit. medical box and rare to find original red triangle in the boot.  

There has been no modifications whatsoever unless you consider the cd player a modification.  

24+ year old cars always need something and the bits that still need doing on the car are the roof and automatic arial. there is a tiny cut in the soft top so I am going to get a new one and have an overhaul on the mechanism which is sluggish. It will cost £500 and if the car sells before I get around to it I will discount the car by £500 so you can do it yourself. I will add a comment to this listing when I've had the work done. The arial simply needs replacing. its not expensive.  

My 13 year old son and I went to the LeMans Classic car show in both 2014 and 2016 and it never missed a beat o either trip. The tyres are all nearly new and so is the battery (2016).  

This is not your average messed with E30. it is a low ownership. low mileage very usable genuine classic car. They are getting rarer on our roads. in fact there are less E30 318i cars on the road than Aston Martin DB5s - although in fairness. the AM is probably the better car :o)
