1985 ‘B' in gleaming black (non-metallic) with black pinstripe upholstery. with some recent mechanical work and some minor cosmetic paintwork done to bring to great condition ready to use for the summer.

Really lovely. very original car originally supplied new by Charles Follet of Mayfair in March 1985.

The bodywork is in very good condition indeed. panels appear original and paintwork is good - it has had some sympathetic touching up over the years here and there and bonnet + wings haved been recently repainted to rectify some faded lacquer. no corrosion apart from (if being very picky indeed) a very few very minor areas eg around inside of tailgate latches and the usual small stone chips to the front which could easily be rectified. The car is a pre-aircon. pre-central locking model so correctly has neither.

The interior is almost like new with immaculate original carpets all round (no dampness) and good upholstery with no rips or tears and good trim and headlining with no cracks or scratches etc - the only small blemish is the driver's seat has had a minor fabric repair but it is hardly noticeable and I have some of the original pinstripe material to enable easy and proper repair if required. Still has original rear loadspace cover (no rips scratches or tears) and original Blaupunkt Atlanta radio cassette. Electric sunroof. mirrors and windows (all working as they should). all instruments working correctly showing strong oil pressure. good battery charge etc. The engine runs sweetly. changes gear smoothly and kicks down as it should. Brakes are strong and it stops and steers in a straight line.

104000 miles indicated. believed genuine (cannot be verified but condition. service history and MOTs such as there is/are certainly suggest it probably is correct) with service history from first few years + recent history file indicating much work done 3000 miles ago including replacement gearbox. cylinder head strip/resurfacing. new cambelt + timing belt. oil cooler refurb. refurb brakes +new pads. replacement alternator. and full general service. New radiator just fitted. new front roll-bar bushes and recent battery. Good tyres (good quality brands) all round.
New 12 months MOT with no advisories and tax till November.
Complete with original handbook. service book. original spare wheel + jack (which appear unused). original sunroof bag. tool roll+tools. 2 sets of keys (one key still works everything) with original leather ‘Porsche' keyrings.
Not quite concourse (though probably could be with a little work). but a really lovely car in almost time-warp condition for its age and mileage and which I understand can be cheaply insured on classic insurance.
More photos can be provided on request and non-tyre-kicking viewing welcome.

Cash on collection preferred. buyer collects (Lancashire).
