1939 DIAMOND T- Modified/Bobbed real rod. THIS ONCE WAS A 1 1/2 TON TRUCK CAB!  The cab has been chopped 4". firewall has 4" removed and 8" has been removed from the bottom of the cab.   It sits on top of a fully custom frame.   The front axle is from a 54 Chevy pickup that was narrowed 3. 5" and has a front transverse leaf suspension with hair pin radius rods and friction shocks.   The rear axle is a Ford 9" from a van and also has a rear transverse leaf with a triangulated 4-link set-up and Bilstein shocks.   The front axle has disc brakes from Speedway and the rear is factory drums.   The wheels are 20" Dodge factory spares with tabs welded on for the baby moon hubcaps.   The motor is a Ford 400 with a new cam and timing set-up.   It also runs a Edelbrock performer intake. nbsp;600 cfm 4 barrel carb and open zoomie exhaust.   That is matted to a Ford fmx 4 speed transmission and new Lokar shifter which needs the linkage attached to be functional (linkage and instructions are included).   The rod runs a Mopar steering box with cowl steering.   The grill shell is from a 37 Chevy and a grill insert needs to be sourced.   The gas tank is a spun aluminum one that holds 22 gallons.  There will be another new set of rear tires included in the sale due to the other ones burnt off doing burnouts!  The seat is from a Dodge minivan and has one seatbelt in the center.   The floor is not complete as is the trans.  tunnel.   I have the top dash with window cranks and window frames that will be included but not installed.   The windows are 1/4" plexi-glass that works well for the time being.   The rod is far from perfect. so if you want perfect you should go find a trailer queen.   The Diamond T runs well. drives awesome and is totally unique.   It has 8 degrees of caster. it will do well over a hundred on the interstate.   Feel free to call or text me at 4 zero 6-21four-nine411.   If you would like to see the rest of burnout below in action let me know.
