A very rare series 3 Wolseley 6/90 with manual overdrive. low mileage and original bill of sale. The car was sold from W Mumford LTD of Plymouth. to a J. Walkey Esq on 3rd May 1958. The car came with optional extras from new. including a radio. overdrive. heater. screen washers and rim embellishers all for £1. 95. It also came with a BMC 3 month warranty from this time. and was an ex demonstrator for W Mumford LTD. It is a possibility that the car was off the road from around 1970 until 1993 by looking at the history. It was then sold on to William Henry Pluckrose on 8th April 2003 until recently.  Comes with good history. lots of old MOT's and a full current years MOT and TAX. Ready to be enjoyed right away - a rare opportunity to purchase such a car.  

EXTERIOR:

A strong solid example. clean in all the places where they usually rust. The car has had bodywork done in the past; mainly to the bottom of the doors and has had a re-spray. It polishes up very well - the paintwork isn't to the highest of standard's but still very presentable as it is. With a little bit of extra attention it would make a mint car. Chrome is all present and in good order.

INTERIOR:

The interior is very tidy. all the leather tan seats are in good condition for age. with no rips or tears. Headlining is west of England cloth also in very good condition with no stains or marks at all. Carpets are clean although not original. The wood on the dash mainly is good apart from one small area on the drivers side near the A post; the wood on the whole is respectable but could maybe benefit from a French polish.

MECHANICS:

Good oil pressure. very strong engine and gear box which pulls very well and sounds lovely. It has a full stainless steal exhaust system from the downpipes back. Gear change is good. therefore drives very well for a car of this age.
