HISTORY

We bought this car for a client of ours in 2010. They fell in love with it because of the quality of work done on the car. and of course the way it looks.

Brought over to the UK in 2003. it has been an 'occassional use' car for its two UK owners. Both have used well known Fiat 500 specialist R Proietti Ltd to service and repair the car. and we have a whole file of receipts detailing all the work done.

It is only being sold as the current owner is abroad too much to use the car enough. so it needs a new loving home!

CONDITION

This is no concourse show winner. however the mechanical condition is excellent. the bodywork is amazing and the interior is not far from looking like brand new.

Although we cannot prove the mileage from its time in Italy. we can clearly show that it has covered just a few thousand miles since being imported a decade ago.

I have personally taken lots of opportunities to 'make sure it's driving OK' and can confirm it has performed faultlessly every time I have taken it out. Despite having owned all manner of modern and classic cars I have NEVER driven anything that get more positive comments. genuine grins and love from other motorists.

 

The later 594cc engine means it can keep up with traffic perfectly well. although it does struggle at much past 60-65 MPH (still that's better than the original 500's 53 MPH limit!). The only non-original items are the modern Alpine stereo. speakers and an iPhone connector which we had professionally installed. the steering wheel and Abarth mats and gear knob.

The bodywork and chassis are rust free. the interior is beautiful and absolutely everything on the car works 100% perfectly.

Finally. the MOT is until 14 April 2014. which it passed with no advisories. and there is tax until the end of October.

 

We know that the amazing condition of this car sets it out from the crowd and we welcome absolutely any inspection. test drive or trial to show how great the car is!

If within 24 hours you decide the car is not for you. just bring it back for a full refund. This will be in writing. You don't even have to give us a reason. (Of course. we ask that you have done no more than 200 miles and the car is in exactly the same condition as when sold. If you live a long distance away we will be happy to increase the allowed mileage. ) Have a good long look at our eBay Auctions feedback. We have never had any negative feedback. most is very flattering indeed!
